Lots of not misplaced passes too. To score three away from home and win after letting in a soft goal within the first minute is a good result at any level. Did you expect Bristol Rovers to lie down for us ? I had home commentary on and they were saying they were in decent form at home yet City had them by the throat for virtually the full 90 mins.
I wish you luck. I am still trying to get my money back from the Rochdale match. I keep getting automated replies.
My thoughts exactly and the difference is I've been watching it with their commentary and one of their fans text in and said despite the score there happy with the commitment shown, on here by some everything is someone's fault and they could do better, well, the clubs up for sale pop and see your bank manager and get it bought, if you can do better it would make me a happy man and you could enter the real world of football management. Well done City well done Grant we are up to second.
Of course not....you seem to be missing my point though, Magennis had a poor game tonight, and with Eaves getting a goal and an assist it's natural that people will expect him to start the next match in the expectation that he'll be a big step up, which he isn't, they're both of a similar ability and I thought Eaves' allround play tonight was no better than Magennis'
Way I see it is Magennis perhaps better at this level with back to goal and bringing others into the game. Eaves more of a finisher* Much of a muchness really. If one isn't working try the other, but Eaves isn't fully fit yet. Either would do a job in any side in the division. *at this level
Thought we looked the better side through out but first half we just didn't create no way near enough, they brought us down to their level, worked hard, we had more of the ball but got to do better. Regarding KLP Thought he needed resting after saturday, he didn't do much however the way out wingers were playing first half then I wanted him on. Second much better, calmer on the ball and much more of a threat. Over all in games like that the longer it goes on when you are losing the harder it gets but great come back.
We weren't great but won 3 to 1 and they have been on a good run . The video stream I watched had the local radio commentary so echo you . Bristol battled hard , alot of teams in this league see as a big fish and want to beat us . Hopefully our quality during the season will see us defeat many teams similar to the likes of Bristol rovers, Rochdale and Wimbledon . We have laid a decent foundation , let's build on it .
They are not a poor team especially at home on a ****ty mid week night. Not many teams will go there and come away 3-1 winners so would it hurt you to admit that City made them look very average ? Personally I thought it was a dreadful first half and a sloppy goal to give them. Perhaps McCann picked the wrong starting eleven. But we rode their little bit of pressure at the start of the second half then bossed the game completely. The three subs obviously made the difference and perhaps KLP should have been on from the start ? Overall it was a very good second half from City especially being away from home. So credit where credit is due eh ?
