They're pressing very well here, not letting us settle at all or get out. Does give us the opportunity if we can break the lines though, and better than playing against a team who'll just sit
This was a game we could have done with Emmanuel not playing, he hasn't started very well at all. He really could do with a rest, but with Coyle out, it doesn't look like he will get one.
nice... passed it arund for 3 or 4 minutes and never got out of our half, then lose possession and give a free kick away ffs
Only realised we were playing at 5 to. Delighted I put it on... Bristol are up for it that’s for sure. We’re looking ropey, but long way yet
Can't do it from memory. (What memory? What memory's that then Ernie? You can barely remember your own ****ing name. And certainly not your wedding anniversary as you were reminded about 500 times last week). When was the last time we came from behind... (Ooh, err Missus!!!! - oh ****ing grow up will you?) ...to win a game?
Maybe we've switched it up, and have decided to do our regular ****e second half performance in the first half instead?
Only listening tonight. When this commentator has Brian Hughes as an analyst, it's quite good. On his own he just sounds too much like a club mouthpiece. Need Burnsy to tell it as it really is (reading between the lines it sounds dire,)
Exactly, a league he has achieved nothing in as a manager, his claim to fame being he "nearly" got Donny into the playoffs. Wow,big deal!!!!! His only achievement as a manager has been getting City relegated from The Championship after 16 defeats, 1 win & 3 draws from the last 20 games(6 points from 60). A shocking record that should have seen him shown the door in the summer, but Ehab The Great knows best. As long as City are permanently £42 million in debt to Allamhouse McCann & The Allams are going nowhere. Spend as little as possible & keep banking those lovely interest payments. Millions a year for doing nothing & turning a Premier League club into a Div 1 club. Tossers!!!!!!!!!!!
Not sure about the premier club bit, flirted with the prem maybe but definitely championship to league one...
It's worth remembering that this is Bristol Rovers we're playing here, a team with a smaller budget, a smaller fanbase, a smaller ground and a worse team. We can't go on like this, it's just not on. Against teams like this, you expect to be on top with your quality showing through. These players collectively are a far superior team, but they just look completely individual. So much so that we look as good, if not slightly worse than Bristol ****ing Rovers. If I was Ehab Allam (apart from crying every morning) I'd have alarm bells ringing. Except he won't because there's **** all ambition.
