Human nature being what it is, you're probably right - but I think most fans get a raw deal as it is. Only a handful of the big boys are reasonably catered for, and even then it's not all games and surely that's what all fans want? I don't want to pay for a sports package because football is really the only thing I'm going to follow. I have no interest in golf, motor sports or boxing, etc. In these days of sophisticated telecommunications it can't be beyond them to give people more of what they want and less of the stuff they don't want. In the long run that would make them just as much filthy lucre, if not more.
Not convinced about a club package. I like watching other games, I wouldn’t want to have to pay extra to go buy a package or a mini package to watch united v city on a Sunday in addition to our games. Nice thing with sky is on a Sunday with nothing to do can sit down and watch a couple of games back to back. A club package wouldn’t allow you to do that. I know some people don’t care about other games and only want to watch their club but I got friends that support other teams and being able to talk about the big games with them is nice.
Yeah, I understand that point. I watch other games too, but I wouldn't watch anyone else if we were playing and that is my priority. There's no reason why you couldn't stick to the original varied package if that's what you prefer.
Everton’s Lucas Digne has had his suspension downgraded from three matches to one after an independent regulatory commission reviewed his red card versus Southampton.
The world is ****ed. I'm cheering Rashford and Joe Anderson because they don't want to starve children, and Mike Ashley for being the least greedy at the PL.
oh give over - Ashley voted for the £14.95 only Leicester voted agains and NUFC haven't been refunding their ST holders .
I think one is fair for that, even though I dont want to say that though I only seen the pictures not the footage Did he go and just stand on him or was it a melee sort of thing? If the former, 3 would be warranted
umm half right he kicked him trying to trip him and when that didn't stop him chased him and ended up standing on his achilles .
Meh, a bit reckless and caught him on the back of the ankle, 1 games seems better than 3. Didn't look like tangled feet in the pics, looked like a wee lack of care for your opponents leg
That's being kind, Digne had no chance of getting near the ball as he was directly behind Walker Peters. No question that it should be a red and fortunate the injury was not worse than it was. I don't know what Digne was expecting to do running behind the player with the ball. He's lucky it's been reduced to one.
it was one of those when you wouldn't argue with a yellow but the run up to it may have played a part in the red though the incident at full speed looked pretty dreadful .
Any tackle like that that isn't a tackle for the actual ball, is a red card and 3 game ban every time imo but we know how that goes
Thought this was a bit interesting https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54713209 Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu resigns
