Oh I completely agree. I was just pointing out his alleged transvestitism and shunning of gender norms would’ve surely made him more likely to be honoured by a “leftist” BBC
Morning all. People believe what they want to believe. Of course its a parents responsibility to feed their kids but the kids can't eat that. If you believe its not your responsibility your right, but other people think differently
With 2 games to go before the next international break can we pick up enough points remain in the top 6 ? The simple answer is non of us have any idea as we wait and see whether Bamford will start to miss, or stupid penaties will be conceded. Maybe VAR will rear it's ugly head and cost us points. The unpredictability of our games is something we're going to have to get used to as to paraphrase that guy from the insurance add " I don't know...knowbody knows " Seriously though, most games this weekend saw teams defending with numbers behind the ball and it made for pretty turgid football. It seems this is something we'll come up against in our next matches against Leicester & Palace as both like to sit deep and then break on teams at speed. Should we play them at their own game and say ok we'll take 0-0 the onus is on you to attack us ? Of course we won't, but if we suffer 2 smash & grab defeats maybe we'll wish we had.
As always it'll be important to get the first goal, especially against Palace, who even at home will defend for the rest of the game if they get an early lead, and they're difficult to break down. Boring as ****. I'd hate it if Leeds played like that.
Other players are definitely going to need to chip in to take the weight off Bamford, few of us doubt that he will hit a dry spell. For me his work ethic and sometimes sublime play in the build up still makes him worth his place in the starting line-up, maybe getting subbed around 70 minutes sometimes to prevent fatigue. Getting sick of pundit's saying we'll burn out before the end of the season, i'm not even convinced we did in Bielsa's first season. On the kid's meals issue, it surely is parent's responsibility. Personally i wasn't really spending much at all in lockdown, leaving me with spare cash and i'd have thought many people were the same but i appreciate not all. I actually prefer the idea that communities work together to solve this, rather than government just handing out more cash. It makes for a much nicer society.
as they say in boxing, styles make fights... we’re a front foot fighter who comes out swinging... and leicester and palace are counter punchers. Style-wise they’re ‘all wrong for us’ We need an early knockdown get ahead on the cards, force them out of their shells into a fight they don’t want to have. I must lay off the acid this early in the day... in short, first goal is always important but especially so in the next 2 games.
My phone contract is £10 per month...unlimited calls + 10GB Had to make some cutbacks to justify the vintage champagne everynight
Leicester v Arsenal 44% possession 2 shots on target = 1 goal Leicester v W Ham 70% possession 0 shots on target = 0 goals Leicester v Man City 28% possesion 7 shots on target = 5 goals Just sit back and give the feckers the ball. Why should we play exactly as they want and expect us to ?
think I made the very same suggestion on here the other day Jammy- given how good we look we look on the break and how vulnerable we are in transition
There are some really **** strikers around who would have scored from the chances in the first half. Swings and roundabouts.
Regarding us burning out, we are having a week plus days to recover after matches in the Prem, unlike the Championship where sometime you'd be playing 2 to 3 in a week. I don't think there are any teams that we should fear. We've played IMO the best two sides in the League, but there will be sides that won't want to come out and play football against us because they know if we get a foothold that we could smash them.
