Oh no. Not another. What do I have to do? I chose sodding Burnley because we never beat them at Turf Moor so it was going to be a quick cameo then off. West Brom; well, possibly. But Chelsea and Everton? Come on! When will the horror ever end? please log in to view this image So, the unstoppable force of Saints meet the immovable... Oh bugger it, life's short enough. There's a match on this Sunday. Talk about it.
Onionman, we've got a football match, away (not that it matters) against the team (currently) in 3rd place in the table. The way we controlled the game against Everton, supposedly the form team - never been beaten, etc, will make other teams sit up and take notice. In short, Villa will expect us to press high, pass the ball around, take our chances and look to get a win. What chance have we got? You won't need to touch your keyboard again, until we run out of other volunteers. Reverse psychology? I can barely spell it, let alone practise it.
I put James Rodriguez and Calvert-Lewin in my fantasy team for the Everton game. Easy win. And I’ve got Watkins and Grealish in now. You do the maff.
I am looking forward to this game, especially given our record against them since 2012. I am not someone who pays a lot of attention to other teams....apart from when the big teams give us a good larf by losing. So I thought Aston Villa....easy, whilst vaguely thinking of their recent struggles....then I looked at the table. WHAT! Mmmm. Maybe not such a pushover, but then I remembered we toppled the league leaders....so, 3-1 to the Mighty Saints. Will I never learn.
I do. Referee: Darren England. Assistants: Adam Nunn, Dan Cook. Fourth official: Michael Oliver. VAR: Chris Kavanagh. Assistant VAR: Mark Scholes. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/darren-england/profil/schiedsrichter/5888
This should be a good game and I will be going down the pub to watch it. Villa will be a tougher nut to crack than last season but confident we can get at least a point.
Any team that can knock 7 past Liverpool are a threat, but we have a new general in town. Have seen the Everton games a couple of times and Vesty was so composed again, helped make DLC like the invisible man, won just about everything in the air and had a great range of passing. All credit to him, Ralph and Vin for a massive improvement.
Really looking forward to this game. Could be a good test for where both teams are this season. Tempted to play Theo ahead of Redmond.
