IF... IF the takeover does go through, how quickly can it all be sealed - and would it impact our ability to transact in the January transfer window if not finalised by the transfer deadline?
It's obviously alot further off than we hoped.. Ashleys statement rules out anything being close you'd think.. Dec or end of season or never

I don’t think you can read anything into that statement about if he is staying or going. For example you could quite easily say it’s a positive and he is trying to get on the good side of all football supporters before he leaves the club so they will spend more money in that nice Mr Ashley’s shop as he was fighting for us in the PPV argument.
I think last nights statement was simply a man trying to make more money (more people would be tempted by a fiver per game rather than 15), or he wants to make the PL look bad. We all know he is only bothered about money and can be vindictive like that.
I suppose there's potentially still a good chance of the takeover and Ashley is letting them know he'll piss them off at every opportunity and that can only help pressure them into saying yes to the sale..
I know but all he does is bake, paint and take photographs. He has too much time on his hands. He should be busy
