    He was always going to get decent money to spend. There's no way he'd have taken the job otherwise.

    Will it ultimately be enough to take them into the top four this season, or will the owner need to dig into his pockets again next summer in order to achieve that? We'll have to see. Ordinarily I'd say that they still haven't done enough yet. But, similar to that Leicester season (where even we weren't far off top four), the big boys are already dropping points on a regular basis....

    The issue is more how sustainable spending that amount on 29 year olds is

    Rodriguez was on a free mate. Allan was £20m base fee, his other signings age range is between 19-27, with the exception being Olsen the keeper who’s on loan.

    He spent about £60m net.
