Thing is, if we'd gone if front against Wolves you'd have fancied us to win. As shown last night the first goal is vital to our chances and even though we won at a canter had Grealish finished either of their best opportunities at 0-0 it could have been very different.

 

I think having no fans is benefiting our players at the moment, specially Bamford. Apart from maybe 25 minutes against City the team are playing without fear. They are playing without the pressure or expectation of the previous two seasons.

I enjoyed Bielsas first season as it shocked me at how he transformed us. I enjoyed the second better but I did pile on the expectation and this third season I’m enjoying the most.

I’m enjoying it as I see it as building the foundation for the future, I want wins but as I see us playing for mid table a defeat doesn’t leave me feeling like we have blown anything. I’m realising now how important it will be to have Bielsa in charge next season.

I was stating the obvious (as usual) with my post. It’s harder to break down packed defences than exploit space on the counter. I think that perhaps you need exceptional individual talent to unlock packed defences, we maybe lack the real top quality compared to some others to do that regularly.

on the break teamwork and numbers count, which maybe is more us. My point was really about how good we’ve looked on the break.
