Note that last season’s awful performance gets a mention. Everton were ****e and we managed to be worse. This time has to be better, even though they have stepped up several notches. Our injuries worry me. That and Walcott’s ineligibility. We do look thin. But this is when we produce our best, isn’t it. Reassurance based on evidence, please!
And so Sali can wait He knows it's too late As we're walking on by His soul slides away But don't look back in anger I heard you say
After Villa lost last night, that leaves us as the only unbeaten side in the division, so as Evertonians we know what that means.
Not feeling it mate. We got away with one in the Goodison game after lockdown and given the circumstances of this one, it has an air of inevitability about it for me.
I'm expecting it to be quite close and think there's definitely goals there for both sides with two inform strikers and nobody able to defend. Not an easy one to call that's for sure, and one of those where no result would surprise me. Plenty of 9-0 mentions tomorrow as it's the year anniversary. I'm going 12 seconds.
Bloody hell, is it really a year since “the game that shall not be named”? What a year it’s been; we’re in a far better place now than we were then (football wise anyway). What’s felt really odd is that, since last season restarted, I haven’t been that bothered about football; and because I haven’t been that bothered (that’s how it works, right?), our form has mostly been pretty good. I’m still not that bothered, so we’ll probably pick up at least a point tomorrow. If we’re ever allowed back in the ground, I will experience a huge surge of optimism, and everything will quickly turn to ****. Shame Theo can’t play, his return to us has been better than Bale’s to Tottenham so far. Oh ****, I’m showing interest...
Isn't there any paint that you can watch, to see if it's dry? It will probably be Red & White Stripes (or white, with a red diagonal)
As you aren't that bothered I though I would research what you can do at 2pm tomorrow. I think this may be right up your street on BBC2 HD: You're all welcome.
That looks pretty damn interesting actually. I’ll skip between that, and updates on here - where I’ll interpret every damn and blast as signifying an Everton goal
We have to beat them to help erase the dreadful memories of that little **** Adrian Heath and that really nasty bastard John Bailey. We hate Bailey and we hate Bailey We are the bailey haters. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
It was made worse for me, you know, that game, as my lovely grandad died the night before the game, and i was devastated I didn’t think life could be any crueler.
oh man, that is a double whammy. I was 14 and at the game that day; not sure if I was going to make it out the ground alive.
What game? I remember sitting in our local social club and watching a mate of mine getting through more beer than normal watching something on the telly, constantly saying something like 'I've got to go in a minute and looking shell shocked but not sure why!!! Just kept on saying 9,9,9,9*"" "" " nil. Obviously it was the beer creating such unusual behaviour.
I’m waiting for the numerous quotes of ‘by this time a year ago, Southampton were already ‘x’ goals down’ Wish the media would stop making up fake past results!
