No child should have to suffer the consequences of their parents poverty, however it’s brought about.

I worked for nearly 20 years in mental health services and came across some truly heartbreaking stories. What folk need to remember is those people who have made bad choices to get involved in drugs, gambling, drinking, crime etc often don’t do that as a ‘lifestyle choice’, sometimes it’s a viscous circle of poverty, poor upbringing, being surrounded by crime, poor mental health etc that leads people down those paths into a world that they would never consciously choose.

Spot on. Bit like Captain Tom raising money for the NHS.

Don't get me wrong it's a brilliant story, and huge respect to him, but ultimately it's something that we all already pay for.

Think you might have said something similar at the time.

The amount of charity that hides the governments lack of funding is staggering....... Shame, shame, shame.

Anyway moving on do we really need a government that isn't transparent in any way shape or form........the walls of this kinda democracy needs pulling down.... Its a fking stitch up well and truly

    Enough is enough

Loads of local companies on board now, supplying free meals for kids. Can slate the British politicians all day long but the British people always turn up when times get tough.

    And McDonalds.

Excuse my cynicism but that vote was whipped by the Tories, has she voluntarily resigned from her Govt role or been told to or she’d be sacked?

Fair play to her for voting the way she did like, but this lot treat internal dissent as a sackable offence.

You never "steal"apples mate, you either gather wind drops or harvest them. Either way it's legitimate.
Crab apples give you the ****s and bad cramps :bandit:
