I don’t think I’ll watch a more satisfying game this season. I’d have settled for 0-0 before kick off. Too many good performances to single anyone out for praise other than Bamford. What a gent in his after match interview too.

I was stupid enough to wait for Smiths thoughts on the game, what a numpty, he thought it was an even first half.

We need to spare a thought for @Eireleeds1 as he was watching it round his Villa supporting son-in-laws so he was probably kicked out on the street after the second goal.

 

I saw the line ups and expected worse to be honest! Was pretty much our second team vs Saints first team. It's a weird season in the super league. It's been hit hard by the virus. At least the kids are getting games.

Largely agree, but must take you to task about Struijk.

Villa know that our quarterback was vital to our game plan. I believe it was always the plan to do what they did, which was to make the absolute most of any tackle from KP, fair or otherwise. They must have thought they'd won a watch when KP got injured, but kept the (successful) plan anyway. I watched the replays & there was very little contact at all, except for Grealpish dragging his leg behind him every time he got tackled.

It's time he was taken to task - and I don't mean on the field. If I ever come across him when he's pished, he'll go home wondering where he left his kneecap. He needn't fret - I'll post the pieces to him later on, along with his teeth.

I have to agree about Klich. To think that previous managers wanted to get rid of him. He is everywhere and involved in everything. I bet if there was a camera just on Klich you wouldn't miss much of the game.

Alioski used to spend too much time on his arse. Bielsa got hold of him and he's become a much better player. There's too many divers and showboaters in Dean Smith's team. They don't put the hard graft in.
I'd have loved it if Bielsa had said to Smith, "Do you want me to give you a goal again?"
