Corbyn is basically too decent a chap, ever to become PM. His family does seem a bit odd, especially his brother, but he didn't choose what he was born into, no one does. He has an allotment and rides a bike because he's one of life's good guys, but that's not why I voted for him, I did that because he's a man of principle.

I don't really care what a person's background is, I'm not an inverted snob. Margaret Thatcher was a grocer's daughter, and she was utterly contemptuous of working people. She destroyed the Trade Unions and flogged off all the council houses, creating the low wage, high cost of living, insecure, get rich or get to **** economy we now live in. The one where working people have to rely on food banks. Harold Macmillan was a proper toff, but his government built more council homes than all the others put together.
