unless the family is living in a slum house with no wallpapers and bunkbeds with only broken toys that they cannot sell off then they don't deserve any food. people never ever spend then suddenly lose their jobs.
Ah bless 'Negative Nelly' doesn't like the positive news? Rather than bring a downer on everything Watford, take this opportunity and embrace this good news. More trade means more money for things.
I don't know... I have seen a few people on benefits playing the system, living like kings while people like me have struggled over the years but gone out and worked.
What about John Perfumo and his liasons What about Lloyd George and his insider dealing What about Peter Jay and James Callaghan Corbyn has gone...as has Perfumo, Lloyd George and Jim Callaghan. Please keep it in the present
yeah, certainly them around and i'd stick them on an island somewhere for cheating the system. Still i don't understand why you needed to put that example out there to defend a policy. I'm all for the UBI and capping of benefits that the tories have put in (although the implementation of it left a lot to be desired) but in this instance there really isn't a positive argument
Some tangible positive news rather than jingoistic tub-thumping and I will. It’s not in any way more trade unless there’s some tangible improvement on what we had before unless you want the win of the currency crashing and Japanese people having greater ability to buy up our exports. Coming up with “EU red tape” given the obstacles to trade created by Brexit is just moronic.
And I have seen a number of high income people scamming every last penny out of the system. I have also worked with people in the hospital with cleaners and porters who work two full job everyday as does their wife to keep their rent paid and food on the table, never claiming benefits (until I suspect now, when their cleaning jobs have disappeared or been cut)
I remember my Mum and Dad having two jobs and us kids sharing the bikes/baths/clothes and just about everything else.
agree I never said there was? I will say it again... I am all for free dinners for school kids but where does it all stop?
https://fullfact.org/economy/uk-japan-trade-benefits/ The Government's own estimate is that the EU-Japan deal we currently operate under will bring more economic benefit than the new deal. All a bit finger in the air it seems, but extremely hard to argue it's significantly better than what we have (assuming one has some vague level of interest in fact rather than rhetoric).
