The clean sheet was very important for confidence, but equally as important was the fact we saw a game out from taking an early lead. That is a priceless attribute to have and the more we learn to do that the better
I´ve just moved to Spain so I only managed to watch a bit of the game on the live steam, but Snodgrass was brilliant from what I saw. We´ve all been calling for Connolly to come back in and play, and it brought the best out of Snoddy. Great to have a clean sheet as well, how was O´Dea and Lees as a CB partnership?
Quiet cos its my first day back, loads to do and theres a new starter so we are showing her the ropes although the other admin has taken that on more than me. Nice girl though, my age…she seems familiar. But shes from Pudsey/Bramley whereas I’m Armley/Wortley so maybe I’ve seen her about.
Morning Pags, morning all. Good weekend all round. We won AND we kept a clean sheet. Finally we now have square pegs in square holes. Pity we now have to wait 10 days for the next game. I read somewhere else that we maybe looking to ship a few players out on loan given the size of the squad. Me, if this is true, I'd like to see Paynter, Bruce, & Parker all out on loan. IMHO, I think all 4 still have plenty to offer, but: Paynter has no chance of even a place on the bench given that even Becchio isn't starting at the moment Bruce - likewise Parker needs to demonstrate he can go a few games without getting injured We know Pugh will be transferring to us in January, but given the size of the squad, will we try to Forsell & Keogh beyond their current loan periods?

Fair point Bucks. Think we may see a bit of a clear out or loan out soon, especially if we keep Keogh. We've got Somma to come back for next season. Given his goals to games/time on the pitch ratio, I think SG will hang onto him for a while just to see if he can still deliver after such a nasty injury.
