Citation? I only ask because that's on the surface of it, an extremely cold political stance.

There will be **** parents no matter what we do and parents who just cant manage with the meager **** they have to try pay for everything

It’s an actual thing apparently, a coping mechanism from previous trauma innit.

I think Hancock has said they’ll look at it again before Christmas, they must deem it not important enough at the minute.

Well the school receives £2.30 per child and i think approx 3m children receive them however some of them will not be from poor backgrounds but from the automatic scheme for younger children .

Hancock, the epitome of numbers instead of real people

    I truly despise that bloke

Two basic principles before anything else, roof over your head and food. Nothing else matters. But I get your point about consumerism, luckily we didn't really have that problem in my day, but I'd hate to be a kid now with all the pressures of it (consumerism).

Can’t say I pay much attention to many politicians to say which individuals are ****s, I prefer the blanket approach.

    I'm pretty financially conservative

but... it has to be universal because 1, if not some kids WILL fall through the cracks and 2, the cost of assessing each case will cost more than the ****ing cost of universal allowance for all kids

That’s how I grew up, but fortunately had some luxuries as well as I grew older.

Kids these days all want Stone Island and Creed, when I was a kid I had a jumper with a plane on it that I seemed to have on in every picture <laugh>

    Obviously

You'd rather some kids who dont need it getting it, than some kids who need it not getting it

It is that simple for me

Possibly mate Yeh, don't know why for myself never thought about it but I'm very like that, tv ads of skinny Africans do nothing for me, but I hate walking past real down and outs on the street and often drol them a lil summin. Don't care if its for beer or drugs either, I'd spent it on that anyway probs.

How can it be hardly any cost? The cost of means testing it would be many millions.

Parents should be instead given an opt out option if they know their kids don't need it.
Most parents I think would opt out if they are doing OK? no?

send them to school and feed them all, it’s so simple.
don’t give out vouchers to parents as they will be abused - they are sold for cash at a discount and then cash used for other purposes. This already happens so giving out more vouchers will be mad

Bet you give them some lovely encouraging words too bro.

Nah really, I’ve developed a real ruthless approach to work and become commercially astute due to not being drawn-in by sentiment or emotion. It has its pitfalls like, not gonna lie.
