Always the same thing. Objective facts vs someone's views

I don;t even care for Peau d’orange, but TDS is a very real condition <laugh>

Was going to come on and say this
I don’t like calling players and I am not going to start
What I would say if Trent is that he looks like he believes his own publicity

    for me on tonight
    More than happy
If we get Allison back and Thiago protecting the CB’s and slightly alter I play we should be okay to put in a challenge (not saying win the league as that is wide open)
Last thing I want to hear is us banging on how VVD out meant we could not win anything Ala laporte last year - as that was cringeworthy to me
Going to be very very tough but let’s get going
Ps told you we would smash em lmao

I have one of them in my extended family, but I wouldn't tell him because he's built like the proverbial.
    Adrian is a Spaniard, btw.
He did well last season at first, but then screwed up. He's always going to suffer in comparison to Alisson, but there must be someone more reliable out there - perhaps we looked but just couldn't clinch a deal.

Anyway - tough game, sturdy though uninspiring performance, great result. I'm happy.

Could be back by the beginning of next month, I believe - but we won't rush it.

Defence is better without Van Dijk. They pay attention instead of leaving him to do everything.

Not a brilliant performance but w chaotic game where neither side had a midfield that could control the game. Shows what Thiago brings to this midfield. A bit of calm and composure.

Could have scored a coupe and could have conceded a couple. Luck was with us.

fabinho was brilliant again didn’t put w foot wrong and the clearance off the line just topped off an awesome performance.

Nice little rest for front 3, thought Jota looked lively when he came on as well.

Nice to get off to a winning start. Looks like Midgetland will be whipping boys of group so important to get 6 points there. Win our other 2 home games and comfortably through.

Bit wasteful in front of goal, bit lucky in defence. Joe's best game of the season. Big test coming on Saturday against Sheff United's big lads in attack and set pieces (is Allison back?). That kid Williams won EVERY header he went for in that 10 minute cameo - maybe play three at the back? 3-4-3 ?

I really like the look of rhys Williams. Id be tempted to see how he got on next to Joe against Sheffield utd.

It would help having fab in front of them rather than wini.

Gini gave very little cover to the defence and I thought Miller again looked like he's getting past it. Jones just didn't get involved. Was a terrible midfield

That was a tough, scrappy win which we badly needed. It wasn't a vintage performance but there two things which we have been lacking recently:

    - Luck
    - Clean sheet

This game was more about the mentality and digging deep, than actual quality because the quality was always going to be impacted when we have a completely disjointed midfield, new centre back pairing, a DM playing at CB and Adrian in goals. All things considered, we did as well as can be expected.

Shout out to Fabinho and Gomez - I thought both really rose to the occasions, and Robbo continues to be our best player since the restart. And it was very refreshing to see competent attackers coming off the bench. Jota is a really good fit for our team and you can see his strengths when it comes to counter attacking. Taki needs to beef up but was definitely involved a lot and links up nicely. He had more touches than Bobby did despite playing almost half the time.

    The negatives:

    - Milner really is done. He ran a lot but most of it was just chasing shadows or trying to regain the ball after his first touch

    - Bobby continues to be ineffective and struggling to link up play

    - Adrian. He is probably the single biggest issue we have and the defence have zero confidence in him. We desperately need Alison back.

Why would I come here for the US elections :D

I've a few old gaming friends in NJ, Long Island and NYC area, we're discording on election night. It's going to be ****in epic. I love the mayhem, I'm not affected by who wins so I really don't give a ****. The meltdown if Trump wins though, will be something to behold.

I've a few weeks break from studies and other stuff, call it 'the convergence of nowt', when the calendar is entirely open, that doesn't happen often.

How's it goin on your end? I must admit we're not having it bad at all with this coof ****e, rough on your end though I see.
