Who cares. We have played utter crap and should be beating teams like Preston at home. They are not exactly world beaters are they? We just made them look good. You are right about the mugs though... Us.
When we lose at home to Wycombe will they be no mugs?
4 at the back 2 defensive midfielders with Carroll who likes to play from deep, how did we expect any chances to be created let alone get a shot on target. I really am starting to wonder about Warburtons intelligence.

As others have mentioned, the picture hasn't been great, but just realised it isn't helped by the fact that Preston's kit nicely camouflages them against the colour of the pitch.

Well what have we learned tonight?
Its safer to play without a left back. A 35 year old captain who does little to nothing. Absolutely no creativity in the team. Pointless to play with a striker.

I really disagree. PNE look really solid. They put good pressure on, marked us out almost entirely and passed around pretty well. They managed us for almost all game.
The only thing they need to improve is attacking play.
Why should we be beating teams like Preston?
They looked solid, well organised and dangerous on the break.
They will be mid table or slightly above.
We won't unless we improve drastically and I'm not sure Warburton is capable.
For me, we're not fluid enough. A lot of the attacking players seem to just stand near the opposition box waiting. I think we need our attackers to drop back to pick up the ball whilst someone swaps and goes into the area. In any case, there's too much of a disconnect between attackers and the rest.
Spot on. Utter cr2p bob. I won't listen to Warburtons after dinner speech. He's spent the money picks the team and yet it's still the same old rubbish. We have won once ( first game). Season is over before Christmas again.
We wouldn't have scored even if they hadnt had those 2 pens. Utter rubbish. Another home loss. Maybe we can win at Reading to get some points?
Not sure it was that bad. 1st goal was always going to dictate the game unfortunately we didn't get it. We weren't worse than Preston, they created nothing just 2 stupid challenges was the difference
Maybe you should go and follow the fakes as you obviously don't think much of the R's.......
