On a trip across the Atlantic,I started talking to this couple in a seat across the gangway. They told me they fly across quite a lot and both take sleeping pills before the plane takes off. I thought ... can you time yourselves to wake up after taking theses things?
Was that what they gave me in an Ostend bar before waking up in a police car? Buggers drove me out into the country and dumped me.I could have drowned in the river!
Just been discharged from a five day stay in hospital. It turns out my cough and shortness of breath was blood clots on both lungs!
Not too bad mate, could have been a lot worse if they had got to my heart. Now got 6 months of blood thinning treatment to look forward to!
Sorry to hear that man, thank god you went and had it checked out though we don't Need ya fukin dying on us bruv
Jheezus mate that must've been pretty scary for ya and the fam if anyone was around. Im a dick for never going to the Dr's unless I have too. Silly really cos we're not gonna last forever, my heath is deffo summin I take for granted.
I’m exactly the same, it drives my misses insane. I always say I’ll go to the doctors next week if I’m not better and of course I don’t.
I remember as a youngster hating the sound of the ambulance, thinking "another poor sod!" Today,I love the sound of the ambulance. "They are saving another life!"
Jesus, not sure lucky is the right word, but you know what I mean. Take it easy mate, but I’m sure your Mrs is making sure of that.
I used to be the same, hated going to the quacks so I just binned it off. Then I went along for one of those yearly MOT things that they offer all over 40's and got a clean bill of health, so I do that every year now. It's good as it checks blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, weight etc. All the precursors for heart disease, diabetes, stroke etc. So I figure it's worth doing just to make sure there's no underlying issue waiting to strike.
Sorry to hear it mate, I hope you recover fully and soon. Stay safe mate especially from the risk of coronavirus.
