Thought he had a good game, for his first start , certainly there can be improvement but there were a few positives to be taken from last night .Victor67 had a great game and protected our dodgy central defence

I thought Bangura played quite well. Ran down the defenders, won the ball a few times and put in a good shift.

Wanyama is really starting to impress. Old head on young shoulders.

He done well off the ball but still not able to compose himself on it, need to settle himself a bit more first. Stokes must be getting a bit pissed off he a much better player.

Stokes will play on Sunday along side Hooper , thought Hoopers first touch was poor last night , but work rate was fantastic

I have to admit I'm concerned about this guy, I mean will he be able to survive a long cold dark winter or will he perish like many others his age? 22 years old my plooky wee arse. I'm running a 10k on behalf of AgeUK in a couple of months so I'll mention him when I pass the finish line, I'm nice like that.

Oh and just so we're straight, this diddy cost you £2.2m. Just getting that in before he becomes a subject of the Donati calculator <ok>

I agree stereo Victor is first class and he covered a massive area in front of Dan and Charlie. Best performance of defence this season and I think that is down to Victor.
Bangura played exceptionally well at times, other times the game seem to go past him.
He has a bit more pace than our other strikers has and is a useful alternative to what we have.
Whether he should start before Stokes is another matter but I would like him to be getting at least 30 mins nearly every game for now.
Hooper is not clicking as well as last season, something is missing.

Remember it was a first start for Bangura, give him time and this guy will be quite good me thinks! Yes, he played well at times, poor at others but he has to integrate into the team and that takes time. To be honest, I'd rather Bangura starts before Stokes - in my opinion Stokes is a good player but his work rate is poor, where as Bangura showed a good work rate last night.

Onto V.W. As others have given credit to Victor, I'll say he should be given more game time - I thought he showed real class at times!

Lads , we were playing a team without a recognised striker. Lets keep that in mind.

No doubt rl - but Victor Wanyama can only deal with what's in front of him..... and he did - more than adequately - so I think he should get a run of games to see how he goes and if he continues in the same vein then he should keep his place until such time as he has to be substituted due to a poor performance (or is, unfortunately, injured).

Rogueleader. We are talking about our attack and you talk about them having no recognised goal scorer. What is the connection?
That team we played cost three or four times more to assemble than ours.
We were also missing several players including best defender and best midfielder and best attacking full back but we don't go bleating on about that.

Bangura needs a run of games... he looks like he has talent and a good work rate!

Who to partner him with tho... Hooper or Stokes?

I could take the time to point out the the parts in the thread relating to the defensive display and giving praise for that part of the performance ,which makes the issue of them playing without a recognised striker a valid point and worth consideration.........but I feel more inclined to say **** off wum <ok> ..because we both know no one can be naturally that dumb, or indeed, blind.

It's strongly rumoured you've signed the wrong Bangura <laugh>

Would explain a lot of things, and would be funny as fuck.

Seemingly Larson is still a bit pissed off with the Sellick fans for booing him when he played for Barca.
