Dunno but it wouldn't last as he'd be charged by FA for bringing the game into disrepute every time his name was mentioned.
All I know, we need to sack Bruce asap and then sack his replacement, hopefully with a two manager gap we can stop discussing the fat Spanish slob.
Theres a thread up right now about past managers This forum is obsessed with the past. Half of those nobheads didnt even comment on a future manager, wanna have a chat about Hughton, Keegan and Rafa. Those three with be ****ing dead soon. Who cares.
Tbh I think nobby would be a great choice... The fans onside from day 1 and he knows how to play football... He's been involved coaching the Peru national team... He's not got much experience, but I'd rather give someone a chance than get the experienced in failure managers that we could afford.
None of those highlighted. Gerrard has done ok and they seem to play reasonable football. None of those listed seem to play overly modern football. I wouldn't actually change Bruce for any of those listed bar the four younger guys. The ideal and probably only realistic with Saudis involved would be Marcelo Gallardo for me. Or Nagelsman or Jesse Marsch. Someone of that sort of ilk. Obviously won't happen under Ashley. Just a bit of modern football will do me.
I've gone Gerrard on the sole basis he'd pick up the Liverpool youngsters who will get discarded like Brewster.
The same place I got Steve Bruce from when I said he'd be our next manager when rafa was still here..
