It’s Tuesday. I did that last week I thought it was a Friday but it was a Thursday ruined my day knowing I still had one more day at work.

    Keith downie sky sports news

“I don’t think it’s going to go away anywhere soon. Obviously Mike Ashley has come out and said he’s unhappy with the process, and has brought into question how the Premier League has gone about things.

“He’s hired Nick De Marco from Blackstone chambers, one of the leading sports barristers in the world. He’s represented a lot of English clubs, including Man City in their case with CAS on their European ban.

“It sounds as though Ashley will leave no stone unturned and will spend what is required to go up against the Premier League to see if he can get this aborted takeover through.”

“The most important thing in all of this is Ashley needs to ensure that the Saudi part of the consortium still want to buy the club.

“You can only assume that Ashley has had guidance from the Saudi part of the consortium, has done his homework, and had assurances that they’d still buy the club. These things can go on for a while, sometimes months, sometimes a year, with this current climate, maybe even longer

“We went through so much last year to get to where we started. I think it will be around for a while.”

Get ****in' relegated and you can pass the ****ing thing in 20 minutes.

In fact, offer the EFL a pay package as part of the takeover to support EFL football

it will pass in 15 minutes then.

I think the problem would be the club wouldbt be worth the same amount and they won't be intersted. If that happened they'll just buy West ham or Leeds and it'll pass on 48 hrs

    That's not true.

The top 6 and the premier league are the biggest issue, it doesn't matter if it's Newcastle, Leeds or West Ham. Not to mention, West Ham aren't even up for sale.

Everyone see's an investment opportunity in Newcastle, we will be a premier league club no doubt if they buy us and there's no harm in dropping down a season.

If they're being that stubborn then **** them, it's not going to happen anyway. Honestly, if you can't make a one year sacrifice to buy the club then you're not serious anyway.

The obstacle will have been removed through the legal battle, but if newcastle were relegated it means they'd go elsewhere and it would go through.. Thats what I'm suggesting.. The legal battle says you can now buy nufc, but they wouldn't want to so if they moved attention elsewhere they couldn't use the same excuse to block it

It's all about us staying up or they'll not be intersted imo.

If that fails MA can sue for any losses. So if he finds a buyer only willing to pay £200m then the PL will have to cough up the difference

Very simplistic point of view from you there I think and if the potential owners think the same I'd be very concerned.

A football club is a long term investment no matter how you shake it. To say "well, now the entire enterprise of 10 years + plus involving hundreds of millions of investment is now not worth it because they're going one year in the championship" is just stupid and unrealistic

That's a separate legal challenge though.. I don't see pif buying a relegated club.. The club would be worth **** all at that point

That's your opinion, but I think it's an argument from ignorance.

Your comments week in week out on this topic suggest you don't have a clue, as you've even pointed out plenty of times.

The club isn't worth "**** all" in the Championship, that is so ****ing stupid dude. So stupid.

The entire picture is the exact same, the starting point is only changed.

Once again, look past your nose and see their bigger picture. If you get relegated and sign the deal on day one, theres no legal battle, you can start a rebuild immediately and not worry one iota about the big clubs.

But the clubs worth "**** all" <doh><doh>
