Be the perfect game to start then. Not sure why Parkinson is being cautious with him when we have so many injuries. Could easily slot in instead of Willis.

 

Yeah - I'd rather start him in this game than against Portsmouth.

 

Not a time to be clever, we aren't 30 games into the season so no reason to start resting anyone. Forget Saturday and lets play our strongest team and give us the best chance of winning.

 

The reason I wouldn't rush to put Sanderson in is that our defence looks like a well-drilled unit. He will need a good bit of coaching and repitition imho.

 

I expect a very very comfortable win.

PS, RTB if my prediction comes in got to be worth 50 bonus points.

Fancy tonight might be tougher than you'd expect, with our mounting injuries in defence and Crewe (apparently) being quite a quick team. Think it'll be 1-1.

 

My thoughts too. Think people are massively underestimating Crewe, as we have done with many teams over the last 2 years.

 

Im not sure Wyke will play tonight, could be another frontline shakeup.

Thanks for that Tees....they look young fit and hungry so we need to start on the front foot tonight and no letting up if we're going to win.

Hopefully linking up like they've already been introduced.
Crewe had only three shots last game, home to Blackpool.
I'm hoping for a routine win. Six goals scored in five league games is a worry.
So a bagful tonight would be nice.

 

i have a bet on 2-1 we are bound to concede and Mandron will score. Win this and the Pompey game, we will be flying and then next Tues Rochdale away !. is there anyway i could sneak into the ground tonight lol, 7 months my god it is tough, the stream will do though. 'Flanno' is out so 3 at the back 5 in midfield and 2 on Mandron.

 

A win, I feel like it's coming. I don't care what the scoreline is as they're just as likely to mess up the next match whether they win 5-0 or 2-1; indeed I often feel Sunderland are more vulnerable after having given someone a thrashing (can't back that up statistically, just a feeling).
