I hope Dino arms is happy... I like VVD. He reminds me of Woody in the way he makes defending look so simple.
Sometimes bad knee injuries can take something away from a players future career in terms of ability. Look at Shearer. He lost some pace and agility but to be fair he adapted.
what gets me as how Pickford got away with this tackle I'm sure that after the McManaman incident with Haidara they brought out new laws that could look into dangerous tackles that the ref missed I'm unaware that this law has been changed
If true, an absolute farce. As if they haven’t spent enough money over the last few years. As if they hadn’t tried to follow Mikey with the furloughing of staff. As if they hadn’t blocked the Saudi takeover. As if they hadn’t tried to power grab at the expense of the EFL clubs and most of the PL clubs. Now they want special treatment on transfers. Disgusting display of meglomania from the Owners.
SSN: Jordan Pickford will not face FA disciplinary action following his collision with Virgil van Dijk in Saturday's Merseyside derby. VAR reviewed the incident and decided that Liverpool should not be awarded a penalty as Van Dijk was in an offside position. VAR also concluded that Pickford's challenge was not worthy of a red card. The FA will only consider retrospective punishments for incidents not seen by match officials on the pitch or at VAR headquarters at Stockley Park.
Is this real news? Seems like something made up to take the piss. IF real, then it's still unbelievable.
A but touchy there Trev, seems like that hit a nerve. I guess The (#cans) Master Cheat doesn't like to be out-cheated by anyone.
Liverpoooool are the absolute masters of this type of beel. I particularly like how they take everything as a personal slight or attack aimed at each and everyone of them. Football just, "means more" to the red side of that city, they're simply more important than everyone else. Nice to have Liverpool back on everyones hate list
I've simply never liked them, spent most of my life on Merseyside and would probably be a blue if I had to choose one. But, I'd probably be supporting Tranmere Rovers considering I attend a whole host of their matches.
