Being a bit of a dunce when it comes to gaming these days (old man syndrome is kicking in) can players on PC, Xbox and PS3 compete against each other online? If so it would be fun for some of us to get together and race at some time. I'm crap and fully expect to come dead last, but would be a laugh none the less.
Yes you can. But a lot of people who play online are bigger cheaters than Benetton were in 94. They take shortcuts, they rough you up etc. It's a laugh, but if you get 1 clean race, it's a miracle.
I hate people who don't play fairly online. Whenever i play a racing game and i'm leading, i always get punted off. It's like i'm in a sea of Schumachers.

Cant see it being too difficult. Although you cant play eachother cross-platform, aka the xbox users can only play the xbox users and the same with PS3 users etc.
I barely play online anyway. I only have mobile broadband, so i have to hook my laptop up to my ps3 if i want to play online, and it's too much hassle. I only go online when patches for games become available.
Can you setup a TCP/IP connection or do you have to run through the official servers? If so everyone could download a cracked PC version

Thanks Hate. Until the (ahem) 'regulations' are sorted out to preclude this, I will not bother to compete. I look forward to a day where cheating is not allowed: that way we can all compete on a level playing field and if Schumacher joins in, he will find his true place in the real (unreal) hierarchy!
Try the tracks backwards. I've tried in on F1 2009 and Spa is so much better! Just about every single corner is more enjoyable, particularly Eau Rouge, Stavelot, and Les Combes. So are Suzuka and Albert Park.
So many crash kids, I have my own set up for every race, once I have a good start I am uncatchable XD
I can't get in the lead online. I always seem to race a bunch of amateurs, who just smash me off the track. I've had the fastest lap in every online race i've done, yet i haven't actually won a race.
