And Bournemouth are not going to spend the 90 lumping balls into the box for Nelson and Morrison to clear up. Going to be a good test of our defence on the floor.

Hope not Hilts, I think they are a better team than they have shown so far. <ok>

There are 3 worse teams surely<whistle>

How did they score 4 at Brentford yet lose 3 at home without scoring?

Surprised but pleased Johnson didn’t play.

Watched the game late (recorded it) because I had other things to sort out lunchtime.

Just read the thread back and something Bluey said is so true. Hoilett and Bacuna are the world's worst at losing the ball in midfield through faffing about with it rather than making a simple pass. They put themselves under pressure and Wilson cut an unhappy figure several times when a pass was on to move the ball on. Ralls made a few sloppy passes but improved. Was easily the most energetic and up for the battle in the middle of the park.

Before he went off Cunningham made some terrible hospital passes - why make an obvious pass it to a team mate when there's someone tight on him? <grr>

Overall a terrific defensive display from Morrow and Co. that could be improved further if we can fit Bedinek in there - can he play right back if Desmond fails to recover for the Bournemouth game?

Left back could be a problem. Bagan looks to be the only viable alternative to Bennett and Cunningham. Bacuna filled in through necessity but please don't be tempted to start the game with Bacuna back there. It is not his position and although he tried hard, it showed.

Yes, Bournemouth could cut Bacuna a new one. Not ideal to give Bagan his league debut although I'm sure he wouldn't disgrace himself. The lack of any natural right back is a bigger problem. At 6ft 4 ins I don't think Benkovic is the ideal build for a full back. Who knows though, he might do it.

We badly need Bennett back for Wednesday. If not id rather Ralls play left back than Bacuna.

Tough game for Bagan to come in.

Didn’t understand why Bagan wasn’t on the bench as he’s the only fit LB on the club although only featured in one league match day squad this season.

Why shouldn’t he play if there’s no actual fit LB?
Until he plays at this level no one will know if he’s good enough.
By all accounts he was decent v Reading in the FA cup last season and has league experience albeit at a lower level.
Has to be better than trying to fit round pegs into square holes.
