Looking forward to seeing how he gets on tonight vs a former world champion. It's a big step up and we know what happened last time, but I think patera is actually a very good fighter or at least much better than people thought. If ritson can win well tonight he's right back on track. The problem is I don't see him beating prograis or Taylor who are a level up on the rest of the division.. It'll be interesting he needs to impress. Joe laws has has a step his fight too and I'm hoping he comes through.. He's pure entertainment.
I hope so, but he was found wanting at European level at a lower weight. Personally I think patera is very good though he's gone on to beat a few highly rated I fighters.. We will see he wasn't too much bethe than Robbie Davies so it's a huge step up this one
Cruel world, boxing. If you're 10th best in the world you're nothing. In football, if you're 100th best in your country, you are a multimillionaire and probably a first team regular
I think he just got carried away that night vs patera and let's not forget he didn't go down.. He's tough I think he'll win tonight he'll have learned from that night... Personally I'm a fan of Joe laws.. He's a character... If he can produce the goods he'll me massive, but I'm not sure hrs got the skills.. I love the way he fights though.. Its foolish but I just love a brawler
Hope so, but I don't see him challenging Taylor or prograis who seem to be way ahead of the rest... There's another I can't recall his name that's ahead of him by a margin too... Can't recall his name but he has a belt.. Looks like ohara Davies might be next if he gets through tonight.. I hate him. I think ritson needs to really impress tonight, but It won't surprise me if he struggles
Well he won't get near Taylor or Prograis level but there's no shame in that, they're top class, Taylor is p4p top 10 He could still make a good chunk of cash fighting Taylor at St James Park or Murrayfield or somewhere like that
he's just not ready yet he needs a couple more years before fighting for Title.. .. stay away and rack up some wins then wait till an opportunity shows up somewhere
LEWIS RITSON WINS IT! A split decision for the Newcastle man! The scores were 116-113 Vazquez, 117-111 Ritson, 115-113 Ritson. "That is a hugely controversial score" (SKY SPORTS).
He got beat.. That was a shocking decision. No shame, but I merely saying he's nowhere near world level.. He's been talking prgeais or Taylor.. He'd get killed.. I hara would knock him out too. He's got no power and he's very basic.. He's tough
Nah he's being built up by hearn to sell a big stadium fight and he's going to get battered.. Basically it's newcastle support being sponged again
