I've finally accepted its not happening mate.. I'm absolutely sick to death of Mike ashley.. It doesn't have to be oil rich Arabs I just thought we were finally getting rid of the ****.. It'll happen one day.. Maybe after I've wired myself upto the mains..
Ya never know how fortunes can change mate, just look at Everton or Leicester. In the meantime if you're going to do it, maybe choose the boardroom at SJP with a wet floor and Ashley in the room with you.
Look. derbies can be brutal: I don't blame Pickford, I don't blame Richarlison. I don't even blame Oliver. But for FFS, if you don't believe the VAR team are utterly, totally, and absolutely inept and incompetent then you are faced with the undeniable truth - this whole edifice is no more honest and pure than a ref with huge fat wallet in their spec behind the third trap in the ****house in the service station in the M62 rest stop.
Blame the rules mate, measuring offside to a cock hair is the issue here, not the fact that they’ve actioned the rule they’ve been given.
It happens every week though. My response earlier was basically saying, it's no different to what happens to other clubs so why is it any more important today when it's happened to Livpl. There's a huge amount of incompetence in how VAR is being administered. It's been a disaster and unfairly affected many clubs. I'd like to think they'll take drastic steps at the end of the season but in the meantime we have to put up with it and this **** will continue unfortunately. That goes for the handball rule as well btw. Utter bollox that too.
My arse mate, that's Mane's elbow there. But here is the main point - what is the point of VAR if they couldn't see, as Virgil lay on the ground for 5 minutes or so (so no rush) what Pickford had done? Hey, as said, i acknowledge that in derbies some ****ing atrocities by both sides have been enacted; but the point is that there is supposed to be a retrospective system that analyses these issues dispassionately. This is bollox. Look, I don't hate Pickford, I don't hate Richarlison, and I don't hate Oliver: don't play in a derby if you don't accept that some over-excited loon may put you out of the game for months ( both sides). But what is is abysmal is that Jordan Henderson may face more repercussions than any Everton player or VAR operative on Monday morning. Come on Tobes, that ain't right? (Must say, btw, if you remember rightly I admire Richarlison's nasty attitude in the same vein as Mane's - arseholes of the world unite. But what grates tonight is that the whole point of VAR was supposed to be a retrospective, objective point of view. I think it's not overstating the case to sat the VAR operatives should be decapitated every much as French teachers. Perhaps, ).
They changed the interpretation of the rules though didn’t they, after the handball fiascos. So instead of the armpit they were taking below the end of the sleeve. Richarlison will get a 3 match ban and acted like a bell end btw, as he was obvs frustrated & made that awful challenge. Pickford got lucky as the foul wasn’t deemed to be violent conduct, so the offside meant the incident didn’t result in either a pen or a sending off. That’s it really.
A special player, and should never have that edge taken out of him. As said, Mane is vicious, and I wish Bobby and Mo were too. But again VAR coward's agenda.in both cases: they just fiddled the the lines and the moment the ball left the passer's foot to suit their agenda. The Virgil incident wasn't obscured by passion and haze - if VAR can't make dispassionate, retrospective analysis, then there's no point in it. And the Mane offside, as with Bobby's at Villa last year has got nothing to do do with objective, scientific, reasoned metrics: it really is just the VAR operative applying a subjective decision to a supposedly objective system.
