Just getting top half will be tough enough. An excellent achievement if we manage it. The big six, Everton, Leicester and Wolves would all be looking at the top six. Any of them who fail to qualify for Europe would consider it a poor season. Villa, Newcastle, Leeds and West Ham will have top half ambitions, like us.
I agree that top half will be difficult (and for the exact reasons you state) but think it's a reasonable target to aim for. Whereas aiming for top 6 is just cloud cuckoo land imo.
Having just seen that, I’m not sure our defence was hugely to blame for either of Werner’s goals; he looks a real handful.
There's so many teams who have similar aspirations that will take points off each other. There's no real home advantage which suits us. If you consider our form since June then we have a chance at top 7.
Werner is an exceptional player. He will do this to so many teams this season, including defences of top 6 teams.

I know what you mean. Too be behind two nil and then 3-2 it was great to equalise and make it 3 all. Just wish Theo had taken it further right at the end before shooting. You never quite know if he would have scored closer to goal or have been taken down for a penalty. So I actually feel a little cheated.
Saints were the last non-'Big Six' team to score at Stamford Bridge when we won 0-2 last December. So Chelsea clearly haven't been that bad in defence at home. It's just us.
