Be nice to see those in the “Parkinson out” party (party of 1?) to give kudos for today. Seems easy to slate him but difficult to eat humble pie for some!! He got everything spot on today

Just got in... watched the goal and the pen.

3 points brilliant, Wyke scored, well I will go down to the bottom of the garden and eat worms.

Definitely a penalty...Maguire solid in taking it.

Roker Report has Grant Leadbitter as MoM..

I have to say that when I saw Wyke starting, I feared the worst..

But a Win is a Win

i'm not even sure what it is with onien, he is certainly not any kind of 'stand out/exceptional talent' but he just keeps doing a damn good job wherever he gets hoyed...maybe his being so enthusiastic to sign for us has swayed our thinking about him but the lad just keeps doing the business and (maybe just my own thoughts here) he really seems to be learning and improving with every game yet he has neever looked like a fish out of water at any time...he is one of those players that worries me, if he keeps improving and turning in these performances then clubs will start taking notice and the bids will begin and i don't want another good player to be tempted away from us.

Is it because of, or in spite of?

Haway the Lads. 3 points. Swindon werent very good tbh

    Glad Wyke scored.....

I know he aint very good but the way some whinge on about him every game before a ball is kicked pisses me off.

Give him 20 mins and then start whinging ffs.......

    Whinge when we're losing...........

    Savour the victories

This “Swindon weren’t very good” thing. There’s a train of thought that a lot of that was down to our midfield and the work they got through. Leadbitter was everywhere! That has to be our starting midfield 3!!

Wyke scored today but that does not change the fact he is hopeless and we look toothless up front when he plays.

The midfield of Scowen, Leadbitter and Power is here by chance not design, only one of them started in Parkys first eleven until fate intervened. He has overlooked Diamond, Neil and now Kimpioka in favour of perpetual failures all season, until injury gave Diamond his chance today . Only fools would get carried away and suggest that anyone doubting Parky should start eating humble pie, its a bit early for that imo. Results have been very good so far but the real tests lie ahead.

Having a good night as always when we win - pleased for Wyke and would be delighted if he gets the 20 goals this season our centre forward needs to score to reach automatic promotion this season.

He had a cracking run of a few games last season when he was a real handful and was full of energy, unfortunately that was a while ago and he's been useless since.

Hopefully he can put another run together and it'll last longer this time because when he's on it he's good for this level.
