I'm with Vic on this one don't get me wrong, if we lose there's a black cloud over me for a couple of days, but there's always next week I can remember getting beaten at home by Leicester (and around 7000 of their fans filling the Rookery) which sent us down, and there are too many bad performances to mention which I watched from the rubbish view in the Old Rookery, plus how many times did we lose and get soaked on the Vicarage Road terrace? we'll be ok - we only need three worse than us
To cheer everyone up (I hope):
Of course Dyche must take responsibility for what happens at Watford this season, and he must stand or fall by it. This is his team--assembled by him, motivated by him, , players in the formation and positions decided by him, implementing his tactics and set plays, substitutions decided by him ...... there is no way he can avoid responsibility for what happens on the pitch, and for the results. He was an unknown quantity as a manger when he took over, but most fans welcomed a speedy decision and the promise of continuity. Well, we have not got continuity, and his managerial philosophy seems to be that creating "competition for places" will motivate players and bring results. That remains to be seen, but Dyche will persist with this approach for as long as he is allowed to. After 10 games one thing is clear--the players that Dyche has chosen are good enough to create chances, but not good enough to score goals. Which is rather the point in football.
i don't blame SD...but he's not completely faultless. However, cheap players obviously need a lot of work in the main, unless they are the DGs of this world, and they are very hard to find. vic speaks a lot of sense. (though i do get rather down for a couple of days after a loss..and maybe an extra day after a hammering!)
exactly! He needs time...like i said to you....watch this space...after January we'll go shooting up the table!
Only if we suddenly find some intelligent play from somewhere , I think McGinn will help us on that front !once he is fit again!
AlthoughI know Frenchie has been impressed with his radio work! So it will be a loss to the watford player when Steve is fit again!
