Well peter Walton just said you can still be sent off of whistle blown or not as players are still accountable for their actions so should be a red.

who the **** knows. Maybe one day a ref or someone will come out and explain to all us idiots who clearly know nothing about football why things are given

 

so Reece James can be sent off for "foul & abusive language" after the England game had finished but a thigh high scissor tackle is fine - sounds about right for these days .

 

I'm sure there'll be clarification at some point during the day. Walton saying it means nothing tbh he just backs whatever decision has been made.

If that is the rule then it should be changed imo.

 

Just feel they get all too technical these days. Common sense says that’s a red. No one is gonna argue it shouldn’t be a red if you give it

 

Also vvd was given offside because his sleeve was off because they changed it from your armpit to your sleeve now.

so maybe we should go all Cameron World Cup and play in tank tops so you can’t be offside by a sleeve?

 

I've moaned about this playing on despite being offside, injuries etc will happen unnecessarily. This isn't a good example if that though since it was a very tight call and the incident happened immediately with not time to react to a offside flag.

 

Don't disagree but you can blame VAR for that. The being too technical I mean.

Jokes aside I think they've said that it's where a short sleeve would end regardless if they're wearing long sleeved. All a bit bonkers imo.

 

How do you know where the short sleeve will end of tire wearing long sleeve? Do they photo shop a shirt sleeve over them and see where ends? Just so pathetic.
