had a quick look over there and all I can say mate is they’re not worth it, Just a bunch of Neanderthals that are training to be carpet fitters. I hope you realise that the majority on here appreciate what you and the likes of smug, Magnus and others bring to this board and not just on this subject. KTF.
Would I be right in thinking that Donald would probably look to keep 26% of the shares just to prevent other shareholders voting through resolutions that may be damaging to him?
Apparently there are a number of time wasters out there who talk the talk but once due diligence done don’t often have the money to back up their claim..
I only post a fraction of what I'm told. Sometimes I'll post something that starts off as a possibility but doesn't come off. Anyone posting info knows, in advance, that they're taking a big chance of being of being proved 'wrong'. So you can either post what you hear for people interested in the latest gossip, or back down to the negative goons ... ... I'll choose to post and laugh at the whingers who never post anything original, witty or interesting.
As I said to prehab mate it’s always good to have the likes of you Magnus and prehab giving us the little snippets. As you know being a Sunderland fan is hard enough without all the ****e that you get of these other so called fans just waiting to say I told you so, you wouldn’t want these sort in the trenches with you. My only hope is that when this episode is all done that all of you keep posting the bits that you hear, when you can.
I'm not quite sure, but aren't we restricted by the wage cap? Pretty sure we must be close to the limit. Sooner this gets sorted the better, but if that's the case, investment for 'major' players wont help us straight away.
Hopefully by the January window the wage cap will be found to be illegal and we can proceed with getting some decent players in. Until then it’s just carry on as you were
I believe the wage cap doesn't include staff. So people could come in and get us a much better coaching/ recruitment/ senior management team, which would immediately be putting foundations in to challenge in the future. If we just had a better recruitment team we'd already be out of this league, never mind the rest of it. In terms of the wage cap I'm also not quite sure where they stand in terms of enforcing it, given that it seems to be getting challenged. We could definitely spend on some very promising younger players though, with anyone u21 not counting towards it. There's also the clause where promotion bonuses don't count towards the cap. Might not help with players wanted by championship sides but could easily away the best at this level to come here. The main thing we need is owners with pockets deep enough to ensure we can survive this Covid period, so that they can make good quality backroom appointments, and so that they're able to fund more than simply wanting to tread water if and when we get to the championship
