The club has not given any reason for this change, and neither have Wimbledon. No channels have announced they're showing it either.

Why has it been changed? Is it something to do with the lockdowns?

Might be so people can watch it in a pub and be guarante
I thought a few evening games had been ko'd earlier so people in pubs could comfortably see the whole game well before 10pm.

Games against Wimbledon are "common", "irrelevant" and a "lousy identity" (recycled joke)

Considering how quickly places are going into higher tiers, pubs might not even be open by the time the game is on.

    Of the 12 div 1 games on Tuesday, 8 are 7pm kick-off.
    1 is 6pm, 1 is 6.30, 2 are 7.45.
With no fans in attendance why not kick off at 3pm and save some leccie? To me it doesn't make sense to kick off in the evening.

It’s probably to do with the armchair support (the supporter of choice for those that control the game) being home from work.

I guess they want to try and stagger pub leaving times, decent shout if that's the case although I'd imagine a lot of football supporters are likely to want to stay until the death regardless.

    True.
Those of us with long memories will recall the winter of discontent, when weekday games kicked off at 3pm.
    What fun that was.

Don't you mean the 3 day week circa 1973 . The W of D was 1978 into 79 and don't recall any midweek matches at 3 pm . But I do remember City playing Liverpool in the League cup and Bristol City in the FA cup in early mid 70 's with both midweek matches afternoon kickoff.

It was indeed during the 3 day week, CityGirl.

I remember Northern Ireland verses Spain at Fer Ark kicking off on a midweek afternoon.

    1-1.

    George Best played.

I went to school in the morning and was picked up at lunchtime to go to the game.

I honestly don't think I've ever been more excited in the intervening 47 years.

WofD, 3dw..It all rolls into one gigantic memory of the unions holding the country to ransom, and they won.
