It's great in stews and broths. Goes well in a chicken or beef version of both. I used to use to all the time in that slow cooker of mine, which I really should fire back up now it's winter.
Definitely won't be having the aubergine option. Had a risotto there before, clearly no longer an option. That was good.
Righto, had a 10oz rump that was on the specials. Thrice cooked chips, mushrooms, couple of onion rings and that. Had it rare, with pepper sauce. Was all really good but the sauce had separated slightly. Didn't affect the taste, ate the ****ing lot. No pics as I was a bloke sat in a pub on his own so eyes were on me! Lamb rump was sold out by the way, I'd have gone that way otherwise I reckon. They had a great looking tapas menu as well. Might try them next week.
