sorry wasn’t a criticism or complaint at all - completely understand you’re posting what you can. Was more a reflection on how maddening this all is.

Well transfer window about to close, not long before my prediction of SD announcing the pulling out of the fictitious buyer and blaming them and the salary cap for his lack of signings in the transfer market.

Of course mate. Don't worry. I didn't take it like that. Just like to be transparent at all times. Sometimes people seem to have an issue with that. Just a lad who gets bits mate. Not the person in the room. People forget that.

    Let's see eh.

Be gutted if it doesn't happen. Honestly. Share realignment will do absolutely nowt. Let's hope some heads get together and do the right thing.

    Have a good evening.

Why would someone desperate for promotion deliberately avoid signing players ...

... especially at a time the club is relying on streaming income.

I don’t believe we would get that much mate, if it’s 250m between 72 clubs that’s about 3m each club

Not a chance we will get enough to do that

Thinking about all the info leaked this week it's very interesting that talk of Donald holding up takeover talks came at the same time as it was leaked we could possibly be getting a share of £250m and Rodwell making an arse of himself about it on the media. My money is on Donald completely misjudging things again and being blinded by seeing pound signs from the bailout now that is off the cards and Donald realises that there really is no way he can afford to stay Hopefully he'll get this sorted and f*** off

There is a absolutely no silver lining to Sartori taking the majority shares whatsoever. He hasn’t shown one bit of interest at all and is guilty by association to the worst owners we have ever had, he is actually a big part of it
    So that will happen then

You'd think though that if Sartori did want to take the majority it'd be because he means business and has plans for the club, he wouldn't take it on as a favour to Donald in the blind assumption it'd be a money spinner.

If his was just going to continue in the same vein as Donald, why would he bother? Being a successful football club owner is clearly in the family so I'd see Juan stepping in as a major step up.

That's an interesting angle. Definitely a cup half-full perspective.

He'd really have to win people back over after the ****-show we've had.

He's guilty by association as Confucius says.

He did at the beginning. Who knows, maybe he's as sick of Donald's incompetence as we all are and fancies a crack at it himself. Without Donald, the great fat albatross, round his neck, weighing him down.

I still think the biggest problem with that scenario is that SD and CM would still be involved, I dont think he would win the fans over no matter what he did if dumb and dumber were still involved

Does anyone know if Sartori has any money of his own or does it all belong to his missus?

maybe he’s just a Uruguayan Storey without the character.

If it is Sartori taking a major role, why? What's in it for him? To me there can only be one reason, because he wants to make a real go of it, I can't see any other reason why he'd want to spend millions unless he has a plan. It just doesn't appear logical to do it if he's just going to be an absent owner still, plus he's now investing more it'll make it harder to get that money back unless we do really well.
I'm hoping he's really thought this can take off with a bit of proper backing, possibly frustrated at Donald for the mistakes and minimum investment so far. Maybe he knows if it goes well his FiL will come on board? Who knows but if it's him I can't see any reason for doing it unless you're going to make a serious go of it.

Sartori doesn’t have much more then Donald on his own but his whole family is a different story
