i've since revised my opinion..i think it was a yellow card because although 2 feet werent off the ground..his studs were up on the foot that was. there was an incident involving arsenal (what a surprise, ****s) where walcott got injured. the tackle was deemed "fair" cause the player got the ball, but he took the player too. suarez is obviously a diving little bastard..but on another day rodwell would have caught him and done some damage. please log in to view this image
Were they up though? I thought it looked like his knee was bent, which usually means your foot is flat hence studs pointing towards the ground. Ridiculous sending off though. But no doubt "Kenny" will still be moaning next week when a throw-in goes against his team.
Everybody could analyse each decision by football officials to the Nth degree - and find a reason to feel aggrieved. My main complaint about players is the cheating tactics they employ. This is only just ahead of the inconsistency of the officials. Unfortunately these are very corelated - and as far as it relates to cheating players, the inconsistency of officials promotes and feeds the cheats. I wonder why I watch football - when I find womens beach volleyball a much more stimulating sport.
