The problem is that every million extra FPP would have to pay Donald, from their offer, would come straight off the budget for running the club. It would also go into Donald's pocket when, in reality, he's done little to deserve it. FPP would take on the club, under the right circumstances, which has always been the case ... ... the only thing preventing it is a mixture of Donald's greed and ego. Sadly he has plenty of both.
See, this is the problem with Sunderland supporters - backward thinking the lot of the them. DVD, pfffffffft, it'd have to be a firestick at least.
whilst I know you have always said the same, I detect a negative tone in this post. Sounds like the fat ****er thinks borrowing money from the big clubs will relieve some pressure and has given him a bit more time, whilst ****ing with the clubs future
I'd like the rest of the lower premier league clubs to vote no confidence in the so called big four, five or six and remove them from the League. If they want to play elsewhere then to go and feck off.
The loan may have a contractual lien on the club or there will be some form of debenture on the facility. Any lender would require that at a minimum. So In my view there would be.
I agree with most of your post.. As I've posted before, Donald is cattle trucked and has been since he took the "Takeover loan" from FPP. All FPP have to do is squeeze his balls harder unless he can come up with the readies so settle the loan. That at this time looks very, very unlikely.
With non-scoring strikers, a dodgy keeper and a Moyes II as manager, plus an owner who has washed his hands of us but will not sell... Ladies and Gentlemen we are well and truly fcuked

I'm sure there's plenty of others that have done the same, or are planning to. There's 4 in my family, including me, two of which used to go home and away. When we're allowed, we're gonna just watch the Lasses (We used to watch both teams). A firm statement of the Fans feelings, (when the North East drops into Tier 3 of the new Covid table) would be a Socially Distanced March from the Academy of Light to the Stadium via Roker Baths Road (for historical significance), and a rally outside of the stadium with designated speakers. Not on a day when we're playing at home, as that could affect the players. Get plenty of press coverage, and make it known to these pretenders that digging their heels in for money they haven't earned is unacceptable, and they need to get out of our club pronto. I don't care if this sounds like something the great unwashed would do. We can't sit on our arses and just have a private moan any longer. Action speaks louder than words!
It hasn't helped has it, hence Donald seeming to want the money ... ... sadly nothing more than an elastoplast on a life threatening wound. I'll be honest mate I've put a good shift in with this club, and football generally, but it's becoming increasingly hard to pretend it resembles the game I love. If the PL becomes even more exclusive that could finish me off. I know this is a weird analogy but when I did my decade on the door of Rock City I only ever really hit two people. That's because, before a fight escalated, I'd allow the lad to see a way out. I'd explain that I had a great memory for faces and, if he kicked off, he'd never get back in the club, one of the UK's top live music venues. However, if he walked away quietly I'd be happy to welcome him back in the future. My point, as you've no doubt grasped, is that if you make it obvious that smaller clubs will rarely be able to go up/stay up and never win the league the whole thing becomes virtually pointless. If I'd thrown out a decent sized lad, punching above his weight and gave him a life ban, what would there be to stop him sucker punching me and legging it down Talbot Street ... ... hope that makes sense.
Anyone cancelling their DD should also speak to their bank to claim indemnity. If we are not getting a service for what we are paying, and not having the funds returned could lead to financial difficulty, the bank should oblige.
Its not often I agree with you, but this is the absolute truth. If Donald is willing to buy into this Project Big Picture fiasco, he clearly has no love for the game and therefore has no business owning a football club, in my view.
He’s abit of patter, for youse, not really my info just been passed on to me, announcement coming in next couple of days, (It’s probably just guess work, Cos you would expect one from the club soon anyway) I don’t know if it’s true, I don’t know what about, like I said it’s nothing to do with what I’ve been told just abit of patter
