No good a points deduction when they are thrown out of the game Has any other team openly nailed their colours to this act of aggression
I honestly don't know who the **** they think they are. How can they genuinely believe - particularly the checkered history pre-2000's of Spurs, Chelsea and City - that they are all above the rest of the game? They're getting in bed with other equally hated and corrupt teams - Juve's history isn't exactly clean, PSG's recent money is mired in controversy, Madrid are LOATHED across Spain because the Royal Family bailed them out so many times, Bayern are similarly despised in their country. Do they really think we fans yearn to have them part of this? I think you'd really struggle to find a fan of the rest of their teams' leagues who wouldn't send them packing with a seconds notice. I mean, the token gesture to So'ton, Wet Spam and Everton was laughable - might as well have called it Project **** Newcastle United Up The Arse With A Pineapple. Sounds very much like the death knell for football to me. If this **** carries on I'll be done completely. Clinging on by black & white fingernails as it is.
The PL should be dissolved immediately. Either return to the FA-controlled top flight, or **** off to your own league. But the FA would have to be strong and put up walls on **** like the loan system.
No! Because then Everton could actually win the league I don't think I'd survive that. But Spurs winning the league with Jose would potentially be one of the most amazing things ever. Just imagine the United fans.
I thought you were done when we failed with the takeover attempt. Or do you still think it will happen? Or bought ****e as a club again during the window? It's just I've seen you typing that you were desperate to jack it in on here if got much worse for at least four years and yet you still post. Any reason why you still persist?
Think this will blow over fairly quickly this time but its clear that the top teams are looking for ways to capture a bigger slice of the pie. It wasn't really an issue before as the money from broadcast income was continually rising so all the teams were benefitting but now it seems to have plateaued and may be falling they are looking at other ways of ensuring that their income continues to rise. The trouble is that there is now a huge bust between what local supporters want and the global fanbase and these clubs are neglecting the former to appeal to the latter, as they see that as a far larger source of income. I think they underestimate the value of loyalty though - the global fans have very little. They have no ties to the club so will jump ship to the next big team. Think this attempt will backfire on the big 6 with a lot of ill-feeling from both their own fans and those of the other PL clubs.
