Exactly.
Except for the behavioural scientists, presumably.
Exactly.
Suppose it depends on what you thinks more important. They can't project twenty years into the future but those that work for the Chancellor of the Exchequer will be vastly more clued up than the scientists
Maybe that's why they keep saying 'following the science' and not "the Economy'.![]()
Sage is made up of scientists, health professionals and academics. I don't think there's an economist among them, so I don't have a great deal of faith in Whitty's assurances.
This is classic gold tonight. I think it's all hands on deck to protect Llama... sorry Starmer
Exactly. ****ing patheticIf the government had followed SAGE's advice and gone for the circuit-break, would you two be blowing your tops at Johnson in the same way you are at Starmer?

What I would like to know is that if Sir Keir is following the science why did the WHO say lockdowns don't work?
Personally, I'd be saying that another national lockdown - of unknown duration - was a mistake. There are large parts of the country in the south - London excepted - where the covid growth rate is minimal. How does it help to shut down all their businesses?
Do you see the hypocrisy in that post? What I would like to know is that if Sir Keir is following the science why did the WHO say lockdowns don't work?
Ah bless you are all frantically trying to defend this... It really makes me smile at the panic.https://www.forbes.com/sites/brucel...oronavirus-lockdowns-is-taken-out-of-context/
You don’t follow a load of right wing trumpets though.
A slightly more measured response than those you and Ellers have made towards Starmer.
No one's talking about an open-ended lockdown. Two or three weeks is what SAGE recommended and Starmer has backed.
Don't have a go at me because your pin-up boy has cocked up big time. Remember it was you who has u-turned over lockdown as col pointed out.A slightly more measured response than those you and Ellers have made towards Starmer.

He is trending under 3 different things and none are positive.
you know he has cocked up Watford. I will enjoy this moment.Just debunking some fake news, mate. If you want to hammer Labour/Starmer when we have such world-beating death and economic decline then at least do it with something accurate.
