I went to a racing night many years ago & got the opportunity to name one of the horses. I took a leaf out of Ollie Reid's book & named it 'Come on my Son'. What a laugh the commentator gave us (unknowingly at first). Ollie had actually owned a horse but the racing mafia wouldn't allow him to register that name.
I don't like using centre backs to cover defensive midfield - I much prefer playing another midfielder there like Klich or even Shakleton. I didn't like it last season when Ben White played DM when KP was injured or suspended. KP's absence messes up the midfield, I don't think we need to mess up the defence to cover for it.
I agree in principle... didn’t like white playing there as it took our best centre back out of position, required a reshuffle... and he wasn’t very good there anyway. llorente though is experienced as a dm and having an extra quality cb at the club means less reorganisation is required. We haven’t/didn’t buy an extra midfielder this window (the one disappointment of an otherwise good looking window) so we’re limited in terms of midfielders who could step in for kp.
Stop whingeing about the international breaks ffs. It’s the same for everyone, same chances of injury. Solution is to buy a load of ****e no country would select. That’s why pl teams need big squads
I agree that Wolves attack not as strong as Liverpool, BUT they are not far behind Ristac, my concern for Monday is Traore might rip us apart down our left flank, we need a quality LB imo.
