I said this on another thread, but I'll say it again: Taraabt looks like a luxury that we cannot afford, especially with Bothroyd incapable of playing up front on his own. Either he (Taraabt) grows up and starts putting in a shift or he can go and play for Wycombe where he can ponce around, do lots of tricks and win matches.
What player though thinks he should be treated differently from others and not have to be taken off. It's not up to you Adel!!!!!!
He's a prima donna, and prima donna's do flounce off from time to time, but he'll be at training tomorrow and it'll be forgotten (until the next time he flounces off)
If things had gone slightly differently in previous games, AT could have scored at least twice, maybe three times and we would be viewing him differently right now. He's definitely frustrating when he does this sort of rubbish, but in terms of contribution the new signings have been just as poor in the last couple of games as Adel has. Like the others, Adel has progressively got less effective since the Newcastle-Wolves games. After those games many people thought the best was being brought out of him. Still think there's time for him to make an impact.
Is any sane manager going to offer £13 million for a player who hasn't scored and contributed not a lot so far? We'll be lucky to get £5 million the way things are going at present...
She might, but would she still have titties as well? Hehe!! A post-width is at times the difference between the good and bad, hopefully things will get better. Nevertheless, Adel did appear different in the two games after the transfer window, and along with the rest of the new signings needs to get back to that level.
That valuation was Based on previous offers for him But I agree a serious decline in his value now!!!!
No,there were far worse performers than him.He was taken off to change our tactics, worked a treat didn't it!!
Near the whole team deserved subbing at half time today, including Adel and Derry. Adel has hit the aluminium 3 times this season I think, and from distance, and for me until today, has played very well.
If what i'm reading in the Press is true about Adel's behaviour and he did f### off at half time then i'm really sorry but he has shown a total lack of respect to the team, the manager AND the Fans. I hope he is punished severely and if that means we lose him then so be it. To think a few days ago we were mostly saying how well he has been playing and the way he has improved himself this year. Son, you have let us all down.
On BBC News 24 this morning it was reported that he went in a pub across from the ground, anyone know what REALLY happened?...
Sounds like a weired on to me. Just like the subtitution in taking him off. I thought he was our best player.
On the flipside, maybe, given he was seen by fans outside the ground and was happy to chat with them, he was allowed to leave by the management.
