Does it really matter when only 20% abide by the rules?

Because the system is crap and the measures in place to help those who have to isolate are made up on the fly once enough people shout about it. There’s no reason why people wouldn’t have adhered to logical rules that worked if there were some. We did it for a long time at the start, to the point right wingers were flapping around saying we were locking down too well.

Why cut it out? It’s highly relevant.

Long term it can only be achieved by working t&t system. For £12bn we don’t have one and now it’s too late anyway. Well done Serco. It’s damage limitation and hoping councils can fight against the tide created by the government and the private companies it has paid unspeakable amounts to to do a job other countries seem to have done relatively competently.

Really... You didn't write this rubbish Watford?
So because the system is crap, people can ignore advice? So person A gets notified that they have to self isolate but he says ’f22k it the system is crap’? Really?
Idiots in Leicester Sq at the weekend the thousands of students the many people flauting the rules is all because we have a s22t T&T? Utter rubbish.

That's because people in other countries have respect for rules whereas here we have an army of experts ( sorry idiots) that flaunt the rules. I chatted with my mate in Germany last night and we discussed the behaviour of students and the Leciester Sq images. What did he say... ”wouldnt happen here mate people respect the rules”. People ask why Germany has low figures?
As I keep saying too many experts knock everything that we (not just the government) are doing but have no answer other than the usual unfounded rubbish.
    Right a cup of tea.

Why would anyone abide the rules of an obviously flawed system?? If it worked then they might take it seriously.

No but there are lots of examples, even on here as to why people think **** that. I've been told to isolate as I came in contact with someone where I have never been???

What, you mean if you are told to self isolate you would break the rules because you believe the system is flawed?
Hello... You can see why we are in this mess.

Maybe, just maybe people respect the government in those countries you reference.

Would you self isolate if it told you that you had been in contact with someone in sainsburys, despite not shopping there in over a year?

Then add on the recent **** up with 16,000 positive cases not being added and people begin to think, what's the ****ing point. These ****s are useless.

So you check it out and take precautions. The same happened to me. I was told that somebody had tested positive in a place where I was.
I followed the NHS guidelines... It works and is not rocket science. Anything I don't understand I use common sense and think of the safety of others.

I’ve got a mate in Germany who reckons they’re using Excel ‘93 to store their data.

I can see from the posts that neither of you have offered anything.
    Just moan moan moan.
I will let you continue with your anti-government rhetoric while I get on with life. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Think people started not caring or respecting what ****e the government came out with six months ago today. Wonder what happened then... sure it was mentioned on the tv earlier as well.
