I think Kelleher could do with and may yet go on a loan. I think Klopp will stick with Adrian but we could well see another goalie added I feel. Too late now for Romero who we were linked with from utd or Gazzaniga (spl) but I think he may be having a look around. It was only a league game that Adrian messed up not like a CL final or anything Didn't the commentators say that, up till the weekend, he'd won every league game he's started.
When your no.1 keeper is one of the best in the world, your no.2 keeper will always suffer by comparison. Adrian is ok, he just isn't Alisson. I'm a firm believer in not getting rid until you know you have a superior replacement.
The only thing I think that may have changed in Klopp's philosophy of sticking with the choice he made is the amount of injuries Alisson has had. He surely didn't expect the number two keeper to be called on so much. I would like to think that going forward Alisson won't have as many injuries. Klopp may want to wait and see or he may have been forced into rethinking another addition who will need to be closer to a first choice pick than a backup.
It has been revealed that Manchester City were left irritated by Liverpool signing youngster James Balagizi from them. The 17-year-old is regarded as one of the hottest prospects at the Reds’ academy, with the attacking midfielder signing his first professional contract last month. https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/10...ion-over-liverpool-signing-balagizi-revealed/
Has Alisson had a number of injuries? He did his thigh first game of last season and was out for 10 games? Then played every game. This time he got clattered in training... wouldn’t say he’s a particular injury risk
He missed 3 CL games including the Atleti game and the Super Cup (I know). You are right that it maybe can't be described as being injury prone. I think he's been injured twice in training including the current one. That shouldn't happen. It's an overall impression that makes it seem worse than it actually is.
Yes, injured in March and missed a league game v B'mouth plus the Atletico game. Also sent off v Brighton in November so would have missed a game/s. He played 29 league games and 37 in all.
Sky news are reporting that ‘Jack Wiltshire would like a crack at la liga or serie A after being release by West Ham’. Bloody Media twisting his words. What he actually said was that he wouldn’t want a cracked leg or a serious one after being Released from West Ham!
Next Salah? This is an interesting read over on Liverpool.com. With 58 goals in 144 appearances after an unsuccessful spell in England, the similarities to Liverpool's Egyptian King are clear. But will Jurgen Klopp and Michael Edwards be tempted on a free transfer? https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/spo...ews/liverpool-fsg-transfer-news-live-19082688 Liverpool could have one last chance at upgrading their goalkeeper roster this season after Stoke City revealed they are willing to cash in on Jack Butland. According to Football Insider, the Potters are looking to offload the England international by the end of next week, just in time for the EFL transfer window deadline. This gives the Premier League champions a huge boost in their mission to upgrade on controversial figure Adrian. https://www.footballfancast.com/liv...son-jack-butland-transfer-news-premier-league
Liverpool have opened talks with Stoke City over a deal to sign goalkeeper Jack Butland, according to reports. The Premier League champions are set to be without Alisson Becker for up to six weeks after the Brazilian suffered a shoulder injury in training.
A few seasons ago Butland was a decent keeper, not seen him play for some time so don't know what he is like now. Probably better than Adrian, but again it is introducing yet another keeper into a shaky defence.
Thiago Alcantara has inadvertently posted some Good news Liverpool fans. https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2020/10/11/liverpool-fans-are-buzzing-by-what-thiago-has-put-on-twitter/
Quick fix this I'm guessing, makes sense if Allison is out and Adrian picks up a knock its kelleher in sticks
