Interesting that a lot of us think that Koch & Llorente will be paired together in the near future...

For that to happen one of them would have to play on the left and from what I've seen so far both are very strong on their right side. Not saying they couldn't work it out, but my thinking is it won't happen until Coops is unavailable for some reason.

I think Llorente was used a lot as the left sided CB at Real Sociedad and wasn't too happy about it.

Saw a quote from Llorente when we bought him which went something like:” l play at LCB, RCB, RB and DM so give the coach options. I also play at LB and LM but dont like these positions and a reason I wanted to leave my last club is because I was mainly being used on the left of midfield which isnt good for me”

knowing Bielsa Llorente will be in goal against Wolves

Wonder how many Prem teams will play 2 up front against us because having Cooper, Koch and Llorente as a back 3 will also work well and maybe have the best back 3 in the league?

There’s good balance there as a back three, I imagine that was part of the thinking in signing him.

We were seemingly after gvardiol as a left footed centre back/left back cover. Then signed llorente who is a right footer but who can/has played left centre back. Wonder if that was considered a bit of a compromise but with the Added advantage of also providing Phillips cover.

    Isn't Struijk a left-footer?

Great shout and I ignored him when in reality hes now a first team CB/DM and yes is a lefty, but he also pings long balls on his right too. So yes we now have 4 proper CBs 2 left and 2 right :emoticon-0148-yes:

Just had a quick look at our eastern neighbours forum, not a happy bunch after losing 4-1 to Fleetwood, bless.

Not surprised the only Fleetwood I've heard of plays golf.

Im sure there was popular beat combo musical ensemble from the late 60's to mid 80's that had someone called Fleetwood playing drums, although of course that may have just been Rumours or one of my many Dreams. Of course if people think I am telling Little Lies or that i am Not That Funny, then all I can reply back is That Somebody's Gonna Get Their Head Kicked In Tonight.

If only I could remember the name of that band, then anyone reading my late night delusional ramblings could just Go Your Own Way, as I am sure there wont be many people shouting Don't Stop to me.

All I need to do now is release The Chain so that the Albatross that is flying Over My Head can soar up high where the Skies The Limit.

Very well done, I have seen them live, the band that is not the footie team or the golfer.

    Thank you kindly Sir.

I just couldn't resist, mainly because I could only think of one famous Fleetwood myself, had to Google to see who the golfer was, not that I'm really any the wiser ;)

    To the left as always...

Not good news on the other stuff we talked about but we're doing the best we can in the circumstances.

Sorry to hear that mate, our day got cancelled anyway because one of the guys ended up in hospital. Hopefully things improve with Covid in the next 6 months and we can arrange something else when more appropriate?
