Lee Dixon said it was a 'guess' and the linesman should've gave Wolves the "advantage'. That's ridiculous. If your not sure, you can't give it. And how does advantage come into it?

We're getting some luck and we deserve some luck. Sometimes you need luck to win games and aslong as we're winning i couldn't give a ****.

  2. If the linesman or referee don't see it they can't give the goal, the same way if they don't know if the ball crossed the line or if it was a pen or not, if they aint sure, you can't just give goals.

TBH I couldn't tell either way, but this is the only game we got lucky.
Yes we rode our luck against QPR, but if it was Man U they would have claimed it was a strong defencsive display. But still earned that point as we have ALL the other games, it's all about taking your chances when you get them.
Wolves created something like 25 chances to our 12, we took 2 they took one. End off you can't then complain about missed chances and pens that should have been. As Tash has said you can get pens but you need to put them in the goal, the form Krul is in a pen is no dead cert for them.

If anything we should have cruised this game with being 2 up by half time, had Ba put his chance it would of been game over long before they even scored.

Man U et al get decision like this quite a lot, but they don't get called lucky!!!!

You make your own luck in this game.

To be honest I don't care either way. Yesterday one or two things went our way and at some point in the season decisions will go against us. That's football and it all invariably evens itself out.

Agreed. Remember last season it went against us when Henry should have been sent of 25 times but only got 1 yellow

I thought it looked out at the time, but after having seen replays I'm not so sure.

The penalty incident was definitely in the box. However, I don't even think it was a foul. They were shoulder to shoulder and O'Hara went down easily. That said, it was very stupid of Taylor to even give the referee a decision to think about. O'Hara was going nowhere and we weren't under pressure.

The way we controlled possession first half, we should have made the win a lot more comfortable, but thanks to the most ridiculous substitutions I've ever seen since Fumaca came on, and some compacency, we ended up extremely lucky to come away with 3 points.

Looked a perfectly good goal to me and it was definetly a penalty. Stevie ain't made many bad calls this season but he must have had brain freeze when he made the challenge on O'Hara, he was going nowhere. Two massive slices of luck for me, which are gratefully received in lieu of us feeling cheated at some stage this season!

To be fair, McCarthy didn't blame the loss on the decisions, he blamed the team for going 2 down in the first place. Of course he mentioned the incidents when questioned about them, but given that even Pards said we were lucky with both I think he was entitled to comment.

Better that than King Kennys 3 games of moaning at reds, then on Saturday refusing to comment on the sending off, because 'he can't comment on refereeing decisions'...
