I said something at the start of the season among similar lines. This squad is absolutely promotion-worthy. Under Grant? Midtable. Maybe top half to playoffs at best.
Josh upfront would have been a much better option tonight, it's been his type of game I'd say. They have played really well, not given us a sniff and we have been shocking
It will be interesting to see how Grant summarises this performance at FT. Outwitted by a halfwit. Way to go Grant.
Bad night at the office Too many crowing in a hull city defeat we are a good team getting turned over by a manager who knows his stuff and terry has been found wanting in changing shape to counteract them Not for the first time
Christ alive, we're saying we need Josh Magennis in the side now. Just watch the last four games, I beg you.
If he uses KLP's goal being chalked out as an excuse, sack him. I think he was onside, but it is no excuse for what followed half an hour later.
Not strong enough unfortunately up front out muscled, defence not convincing including keeper. Midfield losing second ball, all over the pitch second best. Let's hope it's a one off because we are playing has though we only have to go through the motions and they are right up for it. In this league to play well before you begin to play you have to provide the gritt. They are up for it tonight we haven't been. I hope this makes the team realise the fight that is needed because this was very poor. By does this prove we could have done with a couple of leader/ battlers tonight. Lot to learn from this. Wilks is a decent player and I was hoping he was in tonight but hold up play very poor but not just blaming him it was a terrible team performance. There is some big teams in this league and I would still like to see the midfield beefed up a bit. Tonight out muscled, still a good start but a lot to learn.
We needed someone who could win the ball up front from high balls, which appears to have been our creative gameplan tonight for some reason. He had a cracking game for NI last night. He's great at winning and holding the ball, something we've desperately needed tonight.
