If you genuinely think our defence has been fine so far up until this game, I am seriously worried for you, those rose tinted glasses must be fused to your face. I'm not happy at all, knowing this winds you up eases the pain. I would love to be wrong on all of this, but unfortunately mate, I am not.
So those who were crowing in where will finish the season thread still think we'll be top 2 ? .. said it before and I'll say it again .. this group of players need direction and proper coaching .. afraid McCant is not the bloke to do it. Same mistakes being made over and over again
I assume this is the type of game Smallwood was signed for. If he is indeed the Ashbee type we’ve been looking for.
I think the fact that their two midfielders have a combined age of over 75 and have absolutely dominated it is really galling.
When Honeyman had the ball just then in their corner he was looking for some movement, our number 3 (?) who was closest stepped off the pitch.
1) Is it the torrential rain and unfamiliar territory ? 2) Is it the Skye jinx ? 3) Is it the on-pitch management ? 4) Is it the executive ownership ? 5) Is it the Friday attention as the only senior league fixture ? 6) Is it ??? 7) Is it **** ?
We have some decent players for this level who should be more than capable of getting us into the top six, perhaps even the top two. With this ****ing clown in charge we'll be lucky to finish in the top half.
This game was begging for one of our big lads up front and Smallwood to ****house in our midfield. At least then they might not have been able to get the ball near our poor back line.
