Apparently it's not his ankle, it's his big toe - good job it isn't his head........<whistle>

Gone are the days when big number 9’s played 42 league games a season despite being battered and bruised.

“ Don’t worry son a jab of cortisone and you’ll be ready to go again” <yikes>

Cortisone? Bobby Smith at Spurs didn't have that in the sixties. "Get some of this sponge and cold water on that leg fracture. You'll be fine."

    "Yes, boss!!!!"

Yes recall the trainer coming on with just his bucket of water and sponge,
Nowadays there’s a stretcher and about 8 bearers plus about 6 medics with all their equipment<doh>

Well, you should have seen all the equipment the other night, when Mr and Mrs Masky had a “coming together”....plenty of stretching! :emoticon-0103-cool:

Yes a good amount of stretching is recommended for the elderly before taking part in any physical exercise.

It will prevent all sorts of strains and muscle pulls and can help slow down the deterioration of knee and hip joints and delay the need for replacement surgery.

Pleased to see Mr and Mrs Masky are actively following that advice. <ok>
