I'm not, I don't care. It just stinks of weird gamesmanship in US politics. It's a bit stupid TBH because it may backfire on them?

I certainly was mate. Corruption yet again. I'm not a fan of double standards, regardless of what political party is accused. If this was the labour party or lib dems then I would be calling them out in the same way. That's where myself and Ellers (and you to a degree) totally differ. Wrong is wrong, lies are lies, corruption is corruption, **** is **** and incompetence is incompetence. Some turn a blind eye, some call them out and some defend.

Read it and then compare it to how our government behaves. Not too difficult to comprehend mate.....is it?

Ha, I remember that complete fabrication of a story. What strange behaviour that was.

It's been compared to many things. I'm daft I don't get the parallels to our government, can you elucidate?

Our government and its supporters dont like to be scrutinised. You are a perfect example of that. Any excuse to hide in a fridge, withhold reports, blame everyone else, etc etc

Remember back in March when good old Bluster said 'we will turn the tide in 12 weeks'. July he said 'we could be moving away from social distancing by November'.
This idiot of a PM should keep his mouth shut. Hes leading this country to complete ruin.

So you post a plagiarised quote from some supremacist who uses an image of Voltaire to describe our government?
mmm And I get called daft? <doh>

It could have been a picture of a frog or a lettuce leaf. The picture is irrelevant, it's the words that I found compelling. Of course you get called daft, you are!

Anyway enough of memes. They only serve a certain purpose. I haven't had chance to see any news today so I'm really wondering what **** ups have gone on, since they now seem to be happening on a daily basis.

This is where you once again fall flat on your face. Voltaire never quoted that. Some supremacists in the 1930's did.
I don't know why you think the words of a supremacist are 'compelling'?
I think its a case of trying to act smart and not having a clue about either quote or the image?
However, if you find those words 'compelling' then good luck.

We are ruled by a government which is doing everything in its power to avoid any scrutiny on decisions made. Jeremy ****ing Beadle could have said it, its irrelevant who said it, but you know that, you also know it's TRUE but are just ashamed to admit it.

The difference between myself and you Ellers (too many to list) is that I would be blasting these useless, lying corrupt twats regardless of what party they were. You on the other hand ,wear you rose tinted Tory blinkers and cant see the woods for the trees! Just forget that you're a Tory for a second, or pretend you dont hate the left wing of politics, open your eyes and see what's happening right in front of you!

I must apologise as I got the date of the quote wrong. However, I wouldn't go around saying the fella's words are 'compelling' because he was arrested for trying to coerce a 10yr in sexual activity. There are better quotes to describe Boris... Stroller and his artist was probably a better one.

No need to apologise mate, the dates or who said it are of no interest to me. The words are.

I give the Tories more than enough stick. But sometimes (like Goldie says) you need to wait and judge after. Remember that story regarding 'influences'' which was dismissed as rubbish only yesterday? Well, I remember at the time people saying it was fixed. people need to wait and then judge.
