The Who's present drummer is one Zak Starr, son of not the best drummer in The Beatles and he got his first kit off Keith Moon, not that it has anything to do with anything but I was just saying.
What about Trotsky from the Subhumans? He was only 15 when they recorded their first album Just because Ginger Baker spent his entire life telling everyone he was the best drummer in the world doesn't make it so. If you think he's the greatest then fill your boots but in my not so humble opinion he wasn't fit to lace Bonham's.
Agree on Bonham but this guy is a technically brilliant drummer of a different type. Just thought i'd share like.
I rate Reni, Squire and Mani as individual musicians but never liked the Roses because of Brown's vocals. Not my cup of Tetley but not too shabby for a chap who taught himself, a lot of jazz and James Brown in his style.
Wouldn’t be hard due to all the late 20s ****s on here , cool early 40s **** , and the over 5os ... sure there’s a few over 60s as well
Hawkwind have had some good drummers in their various incarnations. Even the excellent Terry Ollis wasn't quite in Ginger's league though.
All rock and roll musicians are overrated ****e stains. Hendrix being the worst of the lot, all his stuff was out of tune pash that the smack heads lapped up because they didn't know any better. Made up ****e.
First time I ever encountered strobe lights was also the first time I heard that tune, at a Youth Club disco. I think I'd had a can of Forest Brown Ale and half a paper cup of Tia Maria, but I was definitely tripping
I'm the best drummer on here. In fact I can play any musical instrument. Virtuoso on the hairy banjo.
